A new website offering small charities a suite of online fundraising services, including email marketing and donation processing, has been unveiled.

Localgiving.com, a social enterprise owned by the Community Foundation Network and the Ardbrack Foundation, has had its national launch today, but has been facilitating giving to small, local organisations for some time.

Charging small charities £60, the website provides donation and gift aid processing and email marketing capabilities. The service is open to organisations of all sizes, but they will need to be vetted by their local Community Foundation before joining.

The website encourages donors to find local charities by enabling them to search for small organisations by region and by cause.

Founded in 2008 by Marcelle Spencer, the site was in beta phase for much of last and this year leading up to today’s national launch.
