Volunteering England has launched its second version of the Volunteering Impact Assessment Toolkit as a web resource with further features and step-by-step instructions.
Used to demonstrate the difference that volunteers make to the organisation, to provide feedback to volunteers or evidence to encourage support and funding, the toolkit can be used by volunteers or volunteer managers.
The new online version, costing £29.99 plus VAT, includes additional written 'how-to' instructions and case studies from users of the previous toolkit.
"The web resource, which replaces the original CD Rom is much more flexible, allows it to be kept up-to-date and provides better and more accurate information than a CD ever could," commented Nick Ockenden, director of the Institute for Volunteering Research.
"In the current financial climate it is even more important for organisations to be able to demonstrate the impact that their investment in volunteering has on the different stakeholders involved," he added.
