See the Difference, the video-based website aiming to showcase the work of UK charities, has launched.
With the heavyweight backing of 25 corporate partners such as Accenture, McCann Erickson and Microsoft, the site allows users to view charities projects at home and abroad, and find out where their money is going.
Users can also donate to projects of their choosing thanks to a linkup with Virgin Money Giving.
More than 100 charities are now signed up to contribute videos to the site, which is itself a registered charity and was originally scheduled to launch last winter.
The site has won the backing of Institute of Fundraising CEO Lindsay Boswell, who said the site “brings charities’ work alive to the laptop and YouTube generation”.
