UBS head of charities departs for Newton

Andrew Pitt has left his role as head of charities at UBS Wealth Management and will join Newton Investment Management in September.

Andrew Pitt has left his role as head of charities at UBS Wealth Management and will join Newton Investment Management in September.

He joined UBS almost ten years ago and before that looked after the wealth and investment needs of charities at Schroders.

Pitt is also a visiting lecturer at Cass Business School and qualified as a solicitor before entering wealth management.

Newton recently appointed fund manager June Jessop as head of charities for Scotland in its Edinburgh office reflecting the company’s expansion in the Scottish charity sector. The role that Pitt will take in the organisation is as yet undisclosed.
