Triodos Bank’s lending and commitments to the charity and social enterprise sector have grown to over half a billion.

Triodos Bank’s lending and commitments to the charity and social enterprise sector have grown to over half a billion.

Its loan book totaled , and now its commitments to lend have grown to over £200m.

Recent borrowers include Michael Eavis’ Worthy Farm in Glastonbury and Yorkhill Housing, Triodos’ first ever housing association loan in Scotland.

Dr Bevis Watts, head of business banking at Triodos said:

“We believe the current economic situation continues to present a wide range of opportunities for social and environmental organisations and we are committed to supporting their visions.”
