Marketing platform for charities, Pimp My Cause has announced its first corporate partnership with Triodos Bank.

Sustainable finance specialists, Triodos will provide sponsorship and support to develop and promote Pimp My Cause which launched earlier this year providing a way for professional marketers to find causes to volunteer for.

Dr Bevis Watts, head of business banking at Triodos said: “Pimp My Cause is an inspiring example of how money isn’t the only commodity in society; that giving time and expertise can be an even more powerful way of making things happen.”

Pimp My Cause founder Paul Skinner said he was, “absolutely delighted” for the support from Triodos and expects the site to expand rapidly. The site is looking for more partners to work with, he added.

So far 130 charities including the RSPCA and have signed up to be able to post 'help wanted' ads.

Former BBC1 Apprentice contestants Alex Epstein and Melody Hossaini are involved with the venture, with Epstein completing the first marketing task for national charity UK Youth.
