Fundraising Magazine’s 50 Most Influential poll is open for voting for the next six weeks.

The annual poll, which in the past has been topped by fundraising directors, consultants and major donors, is now live.

Last year, British Red Cross director of fundraising Mark Astarita retained his crown for a third consecutive year. Readers can now vote to see whether he stays in top spot.

The field in 2015 appears remarkably open. With Mark Astarita stepping down from his position as chair of the Institute of Fundraising, his replacement and last year’s third most influential fundraiser Richard Taylor, might be considered the favourite.

But Taylor is leaving Cancer Research UK to go to a commercial role at consumers charity Which? and last year’s second place Lynda Thomas has taking over as the chief executive of Macmillan, meaning specialist legacy consultant Richard Radcliffe could storm from fourth to first.

The poll is open until 12 June. Results are available in the July 2015 issue of Fundraising Magazine.
