The Tony Blair Faith Foundation has announced the resignation of chief executive Charlotte Keenan.
Keenen previously worked in corporate finance and returned to the sector two months ago as executive director for Goldman Sachs.
A spokesperson for the Tony Blair Faith Foundation told Civil Society News: “After seven years with the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, Charlotte Keenan has moved on to a new role. The recruitment process for a new managing director is underway”.
The Foundation is currently without a chief executive but according to the spokesman, a “senior team of directors will lead the Foundation in building on our successful existing projects and programmes as well as developing new areas of work”.
Keenan has retained links with the Foundation as a board member for the US branch.
“Charlotte remains committed to the organisation and has joined the board of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation in the USA, where we are also a registered charity,” the spokesman said.
The Tony Blair Faith Foundation specialises in providing practical support to counter religious prejudice, conflict and extremism in order to promote open-minded and stable societies, according to its website.
