Residents of Chesham, Buckinghamshire, are reaching for the bottle in a fundraising mission to maintain the town’s historic museum.
The local Tring Brewery is producing 5,000 bottles of limited edition Old Chesham Ale. The tipple will be priced at £3 per 500ml bottle, sold in cases of twelve, and profits will go towards the upkeep of the Chesham Museum.
Pre-orders are already being taken for the brew, which will be officially launched in September as part of Chesham Museum’s exhibition on the area’s brewing heritage.
Chesham was once known for the four ‘B’s: brewing, brushes, boots, and Baptists.
