On 11 August, talentSTAR become the first company in the UK to beapproved as a Community Interest Company.

On 11 August, talentSTAR become the first company in the UK to be approved as a Community Interest Company (CIC). talentSTAR CIC will provide music and performance opportunities to performers via public showcase events and also provide a genuine working environment and employment experiences, in fields which are either limited or not available at all to young people. talentSTAR's Adam Chetter said. "We've worked hard to get to the stage we are at and now as a CIC we will be able to make even more progress and give even more opportunities to people."
