Save the Children’s chief executive to speak at NGO Insight

Kevin Watkins, chief executive of Save the Children, will deliver the opening keynote at this year’s NGO Insight conference.

The full programme for NGO Insight, a specialist conference for international charities organised by Civil Society Media, is now available and also includes sessions on mental health and wellbeing, obtaining grant funding and risk and compliance.

Watkins will speak about the current challenges facing international development charities. Alison Hopkinson, director of finance and information services at Oxfam GB, will close the day by explaining how her charity is undergoing a major restructuring.

There will also a case study from Charity Award winners Pump Aid about their innovative model to provide clean water without creating aid dependency, and panel discussions on technology and changing public perceptions.
