Payroll Giving in Action has launched a mobile app which enables users to access its Giving Online service through their smartphone.

Available on iPhone, Blackberry and HTC, GO Mobile give employees access to their Giving Online account so they can set up and amend donations on their mobile phone.

Jeremy Colwill, Payroll Giving in Action founder and director said: “With GO we have now made this service fully compatible with all smartphone devices, meaning that people can donate to charity anywhere, any time, quickly and securely.”

Quick Response (QR) codes have also been added to every Payroll Giving in Action website making information easier for employers to distribute to their employees.

Donations made through payroll giving schemes are tax deductable and Payroll Giving in Action has so far raised more than £30m for charities with an average 25,000 new pledges each year.
