The UK’s first charity shop will be recreated at this weekend’s Vintage at Goodwood festival.

The UK’s first charity shop will be recreated at this weekend’s Vintage at Goodwood festival.

Oxfam has been selected as the official charity partner of the inaugural vintage music and fashion festival, and will be recreating its first Oxford charity store, emphasising the charity’s long-held place in the hearts of vintage enthusiasts.

The 1948 Oxfam shop will feature among other stores at the festival, and volunteers will be staging a fashion show.

Sarah Farquhar, head of retail at the charity, said: “Every element of iconic fashion, design and music has passed through Oxfam’s doors over the last six decades.”
