Nuffield Health has revealed that it plans to relocate its headquarters from New Malden to Epsom by the end of the year to improve the work environment for its 400 head-office staff.

A spokeswoman told civilsociety.co.uk that its current building “would need substantial work to maintain it at a standard to provide a great working environment”, and that: “This move will provide a new location, with significantly improved services at a cost which is similar to that which we would have had to pay to remain in New Malden.”

The new 40,000 square foot building will include a fitness and wellbeing centre and is located close to a shopping centre and the Epsom Downs racecourse.

Marcus Powell, group organisation development and HR manager at Nuffield Health, said: “As a health and wellbeing organisation, we have been looking for an office that really suits the way the organisation works. We are currently working with designers to ensure that our wellbeing focus is embedded throughout the building. By the time we move in, in December, this will be a great place for our staff to work.”
