Nuffield Hospitals has extended its lead at the top of the Charity 100 Index in this year's annual review of constituents, with 2004's income figure of £455.9 million taking its average over the last three years to £411.7 million. Rankings are determined using average annual income over the last three years' received accounts up to and including quarter one 2005.
