NSPCC has raised £1.1m from its celebrity-studded Pop Art Ball last Thursday.

The charity drew A-list celebrities, from supermodels Agyness Deyn and Natalia Vodianova to designers Christian Louboutin and Stella McCartney as well chefs, actors and the art world elite, to the London ball last week in an event sponsored by corporate partner UBS.

A silent auction had attendees bidding on a dinner with Tracey Ermin and Mark Hix and limited edition Christian Louboutin heels. The main fundraising effort, however, was the live auction which included artworks, diamond jewellery and designer courture.

Andrew Flanagan, chief executive of the NSPCC, said he was delighted with the fundraising total, which will go towards the charity’s Rebuilding Childhoods Appeal which funds post-abuse therapy children.
