The Big Lottery Fund will see a shift in senior management by the end of the year, it has announced.
The directors of BIG in Wales and Scotland, Ceri Doyle and Dharmendra Kanani (pictured), will leave their posts to take up the newly-created positions of director of strategy, performance and learning and England director, respectively.
The pair replace Adrienne Kelbie, the operations and policy director who has taken on a position at Hull City Council, and Gerald Oppenheim, policy and partnership director who, according to a spokeswoman for BIG, has “decided to leave the organisation for other things”. Both Oppenheim and Kelbie will leave the funder by the end of the year.
A spokeswoman for BIG said that the change in roles did not indicate any restructure at the organisation, but rather just a realignment of senior staff portfolios.
Peter Wanless, chief executive of BIG, said that arrangements are in progress for the replacement of Doyle and Kanani.
