Macmillan Cancer Support has appointed Julia Palca as its new chair, she will replace Jamie Dundas who will be stepping down in July.
Palca, who has worked as a partner at law firm Olswang, has been a trustee with Macmillan since 2001.
Outgoing chair Dundas will maintain a relationship with the charity as deputy president for Macmillan.
Dundas said: “I’m delighted that Julia Palca is stepping into the role of chair. As a cancer survivor herself, Julia will continue to ensure Macmillan keeps people with cancer at the heart of everything it does. She’s uniquely qualified and I wish her every success.”
