Last chance for early bird tickets to this year's Charity Finance Summit

05 Sep 2019 Conferences

The early bird discount for tickets to the Charity Finance Summit, organised by Civil Society Media, ends tomorrow.

Now in its 13th year, there will once again be two streams of VAT and tax content, along with streams on investment and risk and strategy.

The keynote address will be delivered by Girish Menon, chief executive officer at ActionAid UK. Action Aid is one of a number of household-name charities that have been making fundamental changes to their business models in order to be more sustainable, so Menon will be able to offer reasons for its success. Closing the summit will be Jo Keaney, who will be talking about the challenges she faces as finance director of St John Ambulance.

Tickets to the Summit offer attendees the flexibility to select sessions from any conference stream. This means that attendees can tailor the sessions that they and their team attend on the day.

The programme incldes sessions with the director of finance at CLIC Sargent titled ‘Are annual reports an effective communication tool’ and ‘The physics of investing’ from John Wyn-Evans, head of investment strategy at Investec.

The Charity Finance Summit takes place on 10 October 2019  in London. It sells out every year, but if attendees book by 8 September they can save £50. Full programme and booking details are available here.
