The Institute of Fundraising has announced the appointment of four new trustees and five new fellows.

The Institute of Fundraising has announced the appointment of four new trustees and five new fellows.

Charlotte Trinder, Clare Anderson, Jasvir Kaur and Dawn Varley have been elected as trustees by members of the Institute after putting themselves forward for the positions. They will now stand for at least three years meeting six times per year.

Mike Wade, Dominic Jenkins, Simon George, Daryl Upsall and Charles Gibbs have been appointed as fellows, recognised as having made a special contribution to the sector and to the Institute.

Lindsay Boswell, chief executive of the Institute said: "I extend a warm welcome to our four new trustees.  In our new trustee board members we have represented a breadth of different size of organisation which will greatly strengthen our scope and reach as an Institute.   

"We also offer our congratulations to five new Fellows, each of whom have achieved extraordinary amounts for fundraising in the UK."
