HMRC has released three new guides to help users complete its most popular charity forms, including making gift aid claims.
HMRC created the guides in response to feedback from customers, so that they now use screenshots of the forms with annotations explaining how to fill in certain boxes.
The guides are:
- Gift aid and tax repayment claims R68(i)
- Charities variations form ChV1
- Community amateur sports club registration CASC(A1)
The fourth form that HMRC lists as being popular is the HMRC charity application form, which still has a text-based guide. There are 14 charity-related forms listed on the HMRC website.
