Impetus Trust has produced a film explaining how the organisation aids other charities to help disadvantaged people break out of the cycle of poverty.

Impetus Trust works to accelerate the growth of other innovative charities and social enterprises working to alleviate poverty.

The film, which features a number of chief executives from some of the organisations supported by the Trust, aims to encourage more supporters for its work in order to expand the number of organisations it can support. The Trust currently supports 15 organisations and it hopes to increase this to 22 by 2012/13.

Amy Stillman, director of communications at Impetus Trust said: "It isn't always easy for our supporters to find the time to get out and see the organisations we are backing and the people they are helping, so we thought a film might provide another way for them to see our work in action.
