DWP names two civil society organisations to deliver work programme for disabled

Royal British Legion Industries and charity contract consortium 3SC are on the list of preferred bidders for the Department for Work and Pensions Access to Work disability programme.

Royal British Legion Industries and charity contract consortium 3SC are on the list of preferred bidders for the Department for Work and Pensions Access to Work disability programme.

The contract involves the delivery of specialist ergonomic, technical and sensory assessments for people with all kinds of disabilities to provide them with the extra support they need to enable them to work.  The contract delivery is expected to commence in November 2011.

 The preferred bidders, by contract package area are as follows:
• Scotland – Rehab Group Ltd
• North East England – Capita Symonds
• North West England – Capita Symonds
• Central England – Capita Symonds
• London & Home Counties – Royal British Legion Industries
• Southern England – Royal British Legion Industries
• Wales – 3SC
