The legal hearing regarding the future of Gloucestershire's NHS services has been set for 8 February.
The hearing, which will take place at London’s Royal Courts of Justice, concerns opposition to the decision to outsource NHS Gloucestershire’s primary and community care services, including nine hospitals, to a social enterprise.
Stroud resident Michael Lloyd, supported by campaign group Stroud Against the Cuts, is pursuing legal action after NHS Gloucestershire bypassed competitive tendering and awarded a contract to Gloucestershire Care Services.
The reported £100m three-year contract was originally due to start on 1 October 2011.
