The Charity Finance Group (CFG) has announced an overhaul of its membership scheme, and is shifting it from individual membership to organisational membership.

An email sent to the group’s members last month said the change was an attempt to increase access to its services as a result of feedback from current members.

Tania Cohen, director of services and enterprise for CFG told Civil Society News: “It’s not a significant change. We are just moving membership from individuals to organisations being a member, so being able to have more people within an organisation that can benefit.

“We want to extend our reach within organisations so that more people are able to take up the benefits of our membership.”

The changes will apply from April 2015 when colleagues of current members will be able to access CFG services, including networking and learning opportunities, reduced ticket prices to CFG conferences, access to specialised helplines and the opportunity to contribute to consultations.

Current members are requested to email CFG’s membership team with up-to-date details of the organisation’s primary contact before the changes come into effect.
