The man in charge of salvaging donations from the suspended CharityGiving portal has issued a call for charities and donors to speak up about how much they are owed by the site.

The interim manager of CharityGiving, Pesh Framjee, has nearly completed an initial review of the . This will enable the organisation to start making payments to creditors, but before that stage Framjee is asking charities and donors to get in touch if they believe there is discrepancy between what they are owed, or gave, and what records the Dove Trust, which ran CharityGiving, held.

Framjee said: “If you know that you have had more money donated than what is showing on your page, this is a discrepancy, and you should report it to our team. If there is no discrepancy you don’t need to contact us.”

Following the suspension of the website earlier this month it was estimated that . Framjee has speculated that most of those creditors .

The interim manager is getting in touch with donors and charities which used the site regarding how much they received from CharityGiving before it was suspended.

Work is still underway to rehouse CharityGiving within a new reputable organisation, but Framjee could make no further comment on this.
