John Ingamells has stepped down as director of policy and engagement at the Charity Finance Group after less than five months in the role.

Ingamells, a former diplomat who until June last year was assistant director of economic development at the City of London Corporation, was one of three new directors at the charity appointed in January, along with Tania Cohen, director of services and enterprise, and Jacqui Porritt, director of resources.

Caron Bradshaw, chief executive of the CFG, said that Ingamells had left by mutual consent.

The CFG is already recruiting for a senior policy role after Jane Tully, deputy director of policy and engagement, left earlier this year.
