CaSE Insurance has launched a new home insurance package for charity workers.

CaSE Insurance has launched a new home insurance package for charity workers.

CaSE is a resource collaboration between the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, Charities Aid Foundation and partners Bates Wells & Braithwaite, ABG and aQmen. The organisation pledges to provide low cost insurance for the voluntary sector and to return 40 per cent of profits to charity.

The new home insurance service joins a growing portfolio of services from the partnership, including event and travel insurance, and offers additional protection tailored to the needs of voluntary sector staff. This includes trustee indemnity insurance, voluntary giving protection, charity money cover and personal accident cover for activities whilst performing voluntary work.

Stephen Lloyd, senior partner at Bates Wells and Braithwaite, said:

"I am delighted  that CaSE Insurance, which we helped set up three years ago, has now launched a product to help those working for and giving their time to these organisations. The product has been competitively designed but it also reflects the contribution made by people working for voluntary organisations and rewards them with additional free cover especially designed for them."
