Camden Council wants to develop outcome-based commissioning for the voluntary sector.

The London Borough is consulting with charities on changes to the way it commissions services.

The consultation proposes that when commissioning for the voluntary sector, the council should understand and take a structured approach to impact measurement.

It also suggests scrapping current funding categories in favour of an outcomes-based programme, where applicants co-produce outcome agreements to meet needs under themes that reflect local priorities and challenges.

The consultation ends on 24 November.
