The Charities Aid Foundation will begin to allow payments via PayPal for charities using its Fundraising Support Service.

Charities which use the CAF donation processing service will be able to give donors the chance to use the ubiquitous online payment method when making a web donation.

CAF product manager Eleanor Hirsch said PayPal, with its 26 million accounts, could provide incentive for more donations to charities. “It’s great for charities as donations are more likely to be fulfilled as donors just have to remember their PayPal accounts details rather than all their credit card information,” she said.
