Anna Southall has been appointed the acting chair of the Big Lottery Fund as the organisation begins its recruitment process anew.
The government has had to change the role specification and selection criteria for Big's chair position following the government’s decision to move policy responsibility of Big to the Cabinet Office from the DCMS. In the meantime, Southall will be step in as acting chair, up from her current position as vice chair.
Current chair Sir Clive Booth will step down at the end of the month after seven years on the board.
