Britain’s Got Talent runners-up Twist and Pulse are to host two flashmob events in London to raise funds for Fairbridge youth charity.

The flashmobs, which could potentially see hundreds of people performing a specially-devised dance routine together for the first time, will take place at 11am at St Katherine Docks and at 2pm at Marble Arch tomorrow.

Organised by News International as part of its Zero2Hero challenge, the 'Best scoop in town' flashmobs will cost just £250 - £500, but aim to raise ten times the value by selling ice cream at the events and by releasing two ice cream themed iPhone games. All money raised will go to fund the Fairbridge Centres, which help young people feel motivated, confident and gain the skills they need to change their lives.

Flashmobs originated using social media to form guerrilla-style mass events that appear to take place suddenly. While tomorrow’s events have taken a more official status, being advertised by News International publications, a level of spontaneity remains as there is no way to know how many people will attend.

Comic dance act Twist and Pulse were thrust into the limelight as contestants on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent, coming second to winners Spellbound.

If you'd like to participate in tomorrow's flashmob events, Twist and Pulse have created a handy dance instruction film to teach you the moves you'll be expected to pull:
