Defunct charity BeatBullying owes staff and other creditors £2.6m, according to the latest creditor’s report.
The report shows that the largest creditors are HM Revenue & Customs, which is claiming £438,000 for tax on staff wages, ITV Text Santa, which is claiming £850,000, and the European Commission, which is claiming £657,000.
None is likely to receive any money, the report says.
The total amount claimed has risen from just over £1m at the time the charity was wound up.
Staff are still owed around £150,000, according to the report, from liquidators Antony Batty, which covers the period to 20 November last year.
BeatBullying collapsed in late 2014, with the loss of 44 jobs, after grant funders withdrew their support. The charity, which had an annual turnover of £2.4m, was dogged by controversy over its management.
