"Nobody can condone what Oxfam is responsible for, but the negative impact of the reduction in government funding of the Charity Commission and its investigatory case working functions must have had a significant impact on why nothing was done since 2011. The Charity Commission and the government have questions to answer. If there are more charities being formed, more staff at the Charity Commission within regulatory and investigation case work staff are also required. This means additional finance support from government."
