Centre for Youth Impact takes over Project Oracle

20 Sep 2018 News

Project Oracle will become part of the Centre for Youth Impact, the two charities have announced.

The two charities, which both work on impact measurement and evaluation in the youth sector, said today that all assets and liabilities of Project Oracle have been transferred to the Centre for Youth Impact, though the identity and branding of Project Oracle’s will remain on existing work on validations and research placements. There will be no job losses as a result of the project.

The charity will have a combined turnover of around £675,000, with nine total staff, of whom two are coming from Project Oracle.

One of those is Sue Holloway, current director of Project Oracle, who intends to retire in November.

Bethia McNeil will remain director of the Centre for Youth Impact. The centre’s trustees will continue as the board of the new organisation, and the Project Oracle board will step down.

The Project Oracle Evidence Hub, which contains information and case studies about using evidence, will remain. All existing Project Oracle projects and grant funding will continue.

The Paul Hamlyn Foundation and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation have provided grant funding to support the transition process.
