  • Are you an inspirational people manager who loves to grow and develop a team, bringing out the strengths of individuals and creating a cohesive high performing team?

If the above excites you and motivates you, then this is the job for you!

We have been the force behind gardening for more than 200 years, and today our aim is to enrich everyone’s life through plants and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place.  This is an extremely exciting time for us as we are making a landmark investment of £160 million into a range of projects, which will not only greatly enhance our gardens, but also increase our contribution to the community, education and to the role of horticultural science.

To bring this and our vision to life, is through our people (approx. 1000 employees and 2000 volunteers) and this role is a key part of ensuring we continue to develop and grow this amazing group of people.  We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has experience of delivering a consistently high standard of learning and development to the business, embedding and building a learning & coaching culture.  You should be passionate about the impact learning and development can make, as well as resilient to the ups and downs of developing such a culture. You should also love delivering training and be a skilled expert in enabling people to upskill, change and grow.

We offer a wide range of benefits as part of your employment package which include access to our award winning gardens and shows, 25 days holiday, life assurance and a Group Personal Pension Plan.
