Global Content Coordinator – The Role
Our Global Content team is responsible for the gathering, development and dissemination of the information that tells the story of World Animal Protection’s work and impact. As Content Coordinator, you will play a key role within the Global Content team and help us move the world to protect animals, and give them better lives.
Using raw content supplied from a variety of sources within the organisation, you will produce engaging content that tells the animals’ stories and the need for our campaigns. You will support the procedures and methods for content production, creating content packs, fact-check fundraising and communications materials and maintain, update and improve our Global Content bank. An important element of this role is to ensure content is current, stories are engaging and that we can respond quickly for content requests.
You will also provide admin and logistical support to the team including organising and assisting at meetings, researching and co-ordinating the gathering of content, helping to arrange trips, responding to requests from all fundraising and communications teams for information liaising with programmes teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a positive, efficient, creative professional who has strong time management and writing skills, knowledge of fundraising in the charity sector and is interested in moving the world to protect animals.
Global Content Coordinator – Requirements
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Excellent writing and research skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Good project management and communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with WordPress essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders in a range of situations from senior management meetings to community projects in developing countries
• Experience of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Previous experience in fundraising is desired but not essential
• Strong interest in animal welfare
