We are looking for a Communications Administrator to provide administrative support to the Head of Communications in delivering Internal Communications and employee engagement to further enhance the organisational goals and RHS Vision. 

The Communications Administrator will work with colleagues across the RHS and be responsible for a number of Internal Communications channels including a quarterly magazine, weekly staff update and providing administrative support for internal staff events. 

In addition, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to Managers across the division including Video Production, Press and PR, Social Media and Public Affairs. 

This is an exciting and dynamic role that requires the following skills and experience: 

  • Experience of providing administrative support in a busy environment, ideally in a Communications team 
  • Excellent writing skills with a proven ability to write for a range of audiences 
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines 
  • Experience of producing communications materials 
  • Experience of supporting the delivery of events 
  • A team-player with bags of enthusiasm and initiative 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
