Fundraising Magazine launches Most Influential poll 2018

12 Apr 2018 News

Fundraising Magazine is resurrecting its 25 Most Influential survey this year, and is now inviting you to vote.

Running in the July print edition and online, the list is a tongue-in-cheek snapshot of those who are making a name for themselves in the world of fundraising. It returns this year by popular demand, after a break in 2017.

The poll, which is open for four weeks from today, is your chance to highlight the people who you think have had the most impact on the sector over the last 12 months and tell us why.

You can nominate three stellar fundraisers. For each first nomination, candidates will be awarded three points, number two will get two points and third place will get one. The results will be collated to come up with a list of the top 25 influencers in fundraising.

Past winners have included Mark Astarita, Richard Taylor and Joe Saxton, but the poll has previously highlighted issues with diversity in the sector.

"It would be great see some new faces make it onto the list this year," says Stephen Cotterill, editor of Fundraising Magazine. "Who is driving the diversity agenda? Who is forging innovation? Who are the upcoming stars making a real impact? Remember, this a public vote so you can help push the reset button on fundraising and shine the spotlight on those who are forcing change."

The poll is open to all and runs until Thursday 10 May. Take a few moments to give us your insights here - https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/QH2SS2S
