With over 20 years working in and for the charity sector, Civil Society Media has tracked the careers and mapped the successes of many of the key players in the sector. Along the way we have had contributions across our magazines and on the website from hundreds of the brightest thinkers.

Our Who's Who section therefore outlines the profiles of both the most important people you should know in the sector, and some of the most forward-thinking, that help to make civil society the unique and dynamic sector that it is.

But we want more. According to the Charity Commission, the charity sector employs 754,411 full-time equivalent staff and uses the services of an estimated 2.2 million volunteers, including more than 842,000 trustees, though there are still 21,400 trustee positions unfilled. So if you work in a charity, why not add yourself by filling out this short form.

Every profile contains a list of the stories on civilsociety.co.uk that mention that person, as well as details of the organisation they work for.
