Tom Carver

Trustee, Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) from December 2011

Tom Carver is director of communications and strategy at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. In December 2011 he was appointed to the board of VSO International.

Prior to this he was a senior consultant at a Washington communications consultancy. Between 1984 and 2004 he worked as a journalist for the BBC, including seven years as the corporation’s Washington correspondent.
