Simon George

Simon George has worked in fundraising since 1987. He worked in charities for nine years before becoming a consultant in 1996 and establishing Wootton George Consulting in 1998.

He has a long history of involvement with the Institute of Fundraising, founding the organisation’s Trusts and Statutory Special Interest Group and now chairing the West Midlands’ regional group.

In 2010 he was elected a Fellow of the Institute. His special interests lie in fundraising strategy, charitable trusts and legacy fundraising.
