Shelagh is head of fundraising at Little Hearts Matter, appointed in 2010. Prior to this she worked in various roles at Age UK, formerly Age Concern and Help the Aged.
Among her many achievements Shelagh managed a team of ten delivering Tesco Charity of the Year and beating the target by 500k.
She created, delivered and managed many award winning partnerships including Innocent's Big Knit cause related marketing initiative, involving over 800,000 hats being knitted by older people, raising over £250,000 per year.
Working with E.On's community team Shelagh helped design and secure funding in excess of £1m for ongoing energy efficiency initiatives aimed to help older people. Shelagh introduced a successful high value donor, legacy and will-writing strategy achieving over 20 per cent increase in funds and pledges.
