Scott Jacobson

Scott Jacobson

Jacobson joined St John Ambulance in March 2009 as director of marketing, communications and fundraising after three years with Orange UK, first as PR director and then director of corporate communications.

Before re-locating to London from Atlanta to join Orange in 2005, Scott co-founded communications firm Pretium Consulting in August 2003 where his clients included Cingular Wireless (now AT&T), the USA’s largest mobile operator, and Opteum Financial Services, the 12th-largest mortgage company in Atlanta.

Prior to Pretium, Scott was a senior vice president at Ketchum, one of the world’s largest PR agencies.

Before rejoining Ketchum in November 2000, Scott held three positions over five years at The Coca-Cola Company: USA public relations manager, manager of global sports communications and director of marketing communications.

During this time, he was a company spokesman for a number of brands and issues, managed PR for the USA launch of Dasani, supervised all of Coke's PR programs for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Summer Games, helped manage a product recall crisis in Europe and spent four months in London on a special short-term assignment.

A native New Yorker, Scott moved to Atlanta in 1993 and to London in 2005.
