Chair, Charities Consortium IT Directors Group from September 2009

Sarah Winmill is an IT specialist for the charity and arts sectors sector. She has spent eight years in total at the Victoria & Albert Museum, spending three years first as network support manager and nearly five years as head of information systems.

Inbetween the two appointments at V&A she worked at the Royal Academy of Arts and has also held roles at Historic Royal Palaces, the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Corps of Signals.

Sarah has been the chair of the CCITDG since September 2009 and is also a fellow of the British Computer Society.

Sarah Winmill is to step down as chair of the CCITDG as a result of her decision to leave the Victoria and Albert Museum for a role at University College London.
