Phil O'Shea

Phil O'Shea

Deputy chair, Crimestoppers from June 2011

As volunteer chair of Crimestoppers Isle of Man, Phil helped realise the launch of Crimestoppers youth brand 'Fearless' and helped to increase the volume of information available despite a decline in underlying volumes of crime on the island.

This led, in part, to the decision of the Crimestoppers national board to elect Phil as deputy chair of the UK Crimestoppers National Advisory Board in June 2011, following a stint as volunteer chair for the north west of England Crimestoppers region.

In his professional life Phil runs his own consultancy, Blueprint, and works at Barclays Private Clients Ltd as risk director, a role he previously held for 28 years prior to a six year career break which ended in June 2011. During this interim period he worked for a number of banks, launched his consultancy and was a special adviser to the select committee on the collapse of Icelandic bank KSF.
