Paula Kerr

Paula Kerr became chair of national disability charity Livability in March 2011 after getting involved as a trustee in 2009 and being vice chair since March 2010.

Kerr has significant experience in the healthcare sector having  spent ten years in UK and international marketing positions at Beechams Pharmaceuticals, Glaxo Holdings plc and Celltech plc.

She also spent a number of years at Smithkiline Beecham Pharmaceuticals working with board directors on product developments and acquisitions, leaving in 2002 to establish her own consultancy in business planning and marketing.

Following the launch of her consultancy she was appointed as non executive director in the NHS and served on the boards of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Strategic Health Authority, Suffolk Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust and Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust.
