Patrick Cox

Patrick Cox is the chief executive and founder of the Male Cancer Awareness Campaign, a job he returned to full-time in November 2009 after two years as founder and CEO of the Small Charities Coalition.

He created the Small Charities Coalition in 2007 in response to the difficulties he encountered in trying to get Male Cancer Awareness Campaign established.  The Coalition aimed to "provide innovative solutions to the direct problems that small charities face”.

After two years at its helm he stepped down to return to Male Cancer, where he had already made a name for himself by raising funds and awareness up and down the UK in a testicular-shaped character costume known as Mr Testicles.  

Cox started Male Cancer in 2006 after surviving a health scare.  He left his job as an engineer and dedicated himself to the charity full-time.
