Nick Temple

Director of business, Social Enterprise UK from October 2011

Taking up position in October 2011, Nick Temple is the director of business at Social Enterprise UK, the national organisation promoting social enterprise in the UK.

Prior to this appointment Nick was director of policy and communications at the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) overseeing and coordinating strategic and policy programmes of work. During this role he was key in securing £500k over three years from the Department for Central and Local Government and helped shape the social entrepreneurship programme as part of the Social Entrepreneurship Policy Group.

Nick has also worked as network director and network development manager at the SSE. Previous roles include voluntary director of the Global Ideas Bank, an online project promoting social innovations and public participation in ideas generation, and co-director of the Nicholas Albery Foundation.
