Nichola Pease

City highflier Nichola Pease joined Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity as a trustee in July 2010.

Pease boasts 27 years of experience in fund management, most recently as deputy chairman of J O Hambro Capital Management. She joined J O Hambro as chief executive in 1998; prior to that she was managing director of European Equities at Smith New Court PLC, where she managed the European team. Before that she held fund management roles at Citibank and Kleinwort Benson.

In addition to her City career, Pease also helped set up Banking on the Young in 2007, a charity which supports young people wishing to set up businesses. The charity works with Youth Business International, a subsidiary of the Prince’s Trust, of which she is a patron.

In her role at Guy's and St Thomas's, Pease will chair the Charity’s Investment Committee, which has responsibility for the overall investment strategy.
